Ensure direct supervision is provided at all times. Upon arrival, this specialist observed Staff #1 and Staff #2 in the hallway. During the walk through, Staff #1 was in the Preschool Pod back classroom with a group of napping children. When asked, Staff #1 stated she stepped out of the classroom to dispose of trash and no other staff member was in the classroom. Staff #2 was in the Toddler Pod front classroom with a group of napping children. When asked, Staff #2 stated Staff #1 was in her classroom while she stepped out to get the broom and dust pan. This was discussed with staff and corrected when they agreed to comply in the future. |
